Leadership Philosophy
“Hospitality is not hard. It's Heart.”
Chris Green has spent more than 25 years building, leading, and transforming some of the most respected hospitality organizations in North America. His career is defined not just by the results he has delivered — but by the people and cultures he has built along the way.
Most recently, Chris served as President of Remington Hospitality, a top-5 national hotel management firm. Before that, he was CEO of Chesapeake Hospitality, a highly regarded operator known for its culture-first approach to performance. In both roles, his teams consistently delivered industry-leading financial results across diverse markets and hospitality concepts.
Chris excels at balancing long-term strategic vision with the demands of day-to-day operations — actively managing, improving, and protecting every asset under his care. He is known for his ability to align ownership groups, boards, and operating teams around a shared vision, and for his belief that culture is the ultimate competitive advantage in hospitality.
A Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) through the American Hotel and Lodging Association, Chris has served as president and board member for CVB, tourism development, and hotel and motel associations across his work markets. He is a regular contributor to Hotel Executive and Hotel Business, and a frequent guest on the No Vacancy podcast.
